Details for the dinner are yet to be finalized but will be
announced soon. The after-dinner presentation is scheduled to be a slide
show by former IC agent/operator and signal maintainer Mike McBride on
IC's Charter Line between Freeport and Clinton, Illinois, also known as
the "Gruber" (on which Mendota is located).
The Whistle Stop is located next to the Amtrak station and
Union Depot Museum on the east side of downtown Mendota. There is a decent
view of the Mendota station and museum grounds and BNSF main line from the
show/banquet hall upstairs, so bring your cameras!
